Regular Maintenance and Service
Regular Cleaning
Clean the laminator at regular intervals.
1. Before cleaning, disconnect the plug from the power socket.
2. Use a damp, lint-free cloth to clean the laminator surface.
Removing Adhesive and Other Residues
Adhesive and other residues on the rollers can impair the lamination result. Re
move the residues at regular intervals and whenever the lamination result is not as
good as expected.
1. Switch the ON/OFF switch to
ON
and the COLD/HOT lamination switch to
HOT
. Wait for about 3 - 4 minutes until the laminator has reached its optimal
operating temperature.
CAUTION!
• Danger of burns due to hot machine surface!
During hot laminating, the machine surface heats up.
Do not touch the machine surface during laminating operation.
2. Fold a sheet of paper and feed it into the laminator with the folded edge first
and keepFor an optimal lamination result, leave a space of 3 to 5 mm between
the edges of the document and edges of the foil on all sides it straight. Residu
al adhesive is removed and taken up by the paper when ejected.
3. Repeat the process with a new sheet of paper until the paper comes out clean.
Troubleshooting
The laminating foil jams.
Follow the instructions in the Section
"Clearing Foil Jams".
Use only laminating foils that meet the
requirements in the "Technical Data".
Do not exceed the maximum thickness of
the laminated material and foil.
Keep the laminating foil straight when you
feed it into the laminator infeed.
