HOW TO PROGRAM SPEED DIAL CODES
In addition to the one touch keys, your fax machine also provides the facility to store a further 32 fax or
phone numbers under the speed dial codes (01-32). The 32 codes are programmed by selecting a phone
number and fax number for each one. Once these keys have been programmed, an electronic agenda is
created which contains up to 32 telephone numbers and 32 fax numbers which can be dialled by pressing
the speed dial key and inputting the programmed code. When you press the speed dial key followed by
the programmed code either the fax number or the telephone number will be dialled depending on whether
or not there is a document in the feeder (refer to the charts at the end of this section).
Speed dial codes are programmed in the configuration parameters (see section:
CONFIGURATION
PARAMETERS, heading: Programming chart and description of the sub-menu: Coded Speed Dial).
Along with the fax and phone numbers you can also store additional information under the speed dial
codes. The following table lists all the parameters that may be programmed for a single speed dial code
together with the memory capacity and a programming example..

The following example describes how to program the speed dial code 01 with the information given in the
table above.

The display shows the operating mode with time and date.

Press FUNCTION to select the “FAX SET-UP” menu.
2.
Press START to select VARIOUS SETTINGS and then press
FUNCTION until you select the CODED SPEED DIAL sub-menu.
3.
Press START.
The display shows the cursor at the point at which you must
enter the code to be programmed.
4.
Enter 01 from the numeric keypad.
