START: Confirms selection of the sub-menu and moves down to the associated parameters. Confirms a

parameter and the relative value and moves on to the next parameter.

< / > : To select the value of a parameter by scrolling forward and backward through the values

available. Alternatively used to position on the characters that make up the value of a particular
parameter; in this latter case, once the position is reached you will be prompted to enter the
required value.

STOP: Interrupts the programming procedure and returns to the original operating mode display.

DESCRIPTION:

a) Allows you to select the paper size. The sheet feeder should then be set to the selected size.

b) For document reception, allows you to automatically reduce the area occupied by the text of the printed

document in relation to the selected percentage. In this way a document may be reduced to a single or
fewer pages.

c) Allows you to print information which does not fit on the paper size selected for the received document

on an additional sheet. If you select parameter “SURPLUS: AUTO”, the fax machine will always print
the text which verruns the set paper size on an additional sheet, as long as this text is more t han 12 mm
long.
