The boiler is designed to function with positive
pressure.
Incase of possible negative pressure, it is man-
datory to install a vacuum relief valve.
Vacuum relief valves prevents vacuums forming
inside the boiler.
Such conditions can occur when the downstre-
am flow rate is higher than the inlet flow rate.
For example, a vacuum may occur in systems
whose users are located below the base of the
boiler.
The vacuum relief valve has a system that ke-
eps the valve shut under normal conditions.
When a vacuum forms, the water depression of
the delivery pipes will open the valve, so air may
enter to balance the negative pressure in the
boiler, reducing the risk of boiler failure.

It is mandatory to install a vacuum relief valve in
systems with vacuum risks.
We recommend to use a vacuum relief valve that
is suited to the normal temperature and pressu-
re conditions of the system.
Not complying to the istructions may lead to
irreparable damage to the boiler.
The manufacturer will not be held liable in
case the damage is caused by not complying
to the instructions of this manual.
