Lights up when the air conditioner starts defrosting automatically.
Lights up when SEL CLEAN function is enabled
Lights up when FROST PROTECTION function is enabled
Lights up when WIRELESS function is enabled
When ECO function is activated (some units), the indication lights up gradually one letter at a time;
in sequence -- -- -> set temperature -> -> ... (at one second intervals).
Lights up when the ECO function is active (some units)
It lights up in different colours based on the operating mode (some units):
In cooling (COOL) or dehumidification (DRY) mode, the symbol lights up in a cold colour.
In heating mode (HEAT), the symbol lights up in a warm colour.
3.4 - DESCRIPTION OF REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control is the interface between the air-c onditioner and the customer, so it is very important to
learn all its functions, the use of the various controls and the meaning of the symbols marked on it.
3.4.1 - Indicators on remote controller (fig. 27)
A. Transmission
This transmission indicator lights when remote controller transmits signals to the indoor unit.
B. Operating mode
Displays the operating mode active.
It includes:
AUTO
,
COOL
,
DRY
,
HEAT
,
FAN ONLY
and return to
AUTO
.
C. Follow me
Function
D. Temperature
Displays the required temperature (from 17°C to 30°C).
When you set the operating mode to FAN ONLY, no temperature setting is displayed.
E. Timer
Indicate Timer on/off time (0,5÷24 hours).
F. Fan speed
Displays the fan speed set, AUTO and three speed levels can be indicated
“ “ (LOW) - “ “ (MED) - “ “ (HIGH).
“
AUTO
” is displayed when the operational mode is “
AUTO
” or “
DRY
”; the indicator (F1) is displayed when
SILENT mode is active.
G. Sleep
Displayed under sleeping operation.
Press the SLEEP button again to remove.
The remote control display is illustrated just for greater clarity.
3.4.2 - Description of the remote control keys (figure 28)
1. MODE SELECTION key
Every time this key is pressed, a mode is selected in sequence,
AUTO > COOL DRY > HEAT > FAN and then back to AUTO .
2. ON/OFF key
Press this key to start the appliance and press it again to stop the appliance.
