Chapter 3 Maintenance & Disassembly

 
Carriage Shaft

(Viewed from the top)

To lubricate the carriage shaft, apply a small amount of oil to a clean lint-free cloth and wipe the carriage 
shaft. Then, using a dry portion of the cloth, wipe the residual oil from the carriage shaft.
