34 < BASIC FUNCTIONAL CHECKS
SCANNING
The user can use the Scancopier to scan images using either a
proprietary application or using Unimessage Pro (in conjunction with
the TWAIN software). These methods are described in the S900
Scancopier User’s Guide and the Unimessage Pro User’s Guide, to
which you should direct the user.
1. Start Unimessage Pro (for example using
Start|Programs|Unimessage Pro|Unimessage Pro )
2. Place an example single-page color document on the flatbed.
3. Click on the Scan Image icon on the Unimessage Pro Welcome
window to display the TWAIN window.
4. Select the Flatbed scanning method on the Scan
Method
drop-down menu.
NOTE
Carry out the following functional check to ensure basic scanning
operation of Unimessage Pro, not necessarily as a demonstration to the
user.
