Printer Maintenance

Turn off the power to the printer.

(1)

Press and hold the <POWER>

button for approximately 1 second.

“Shutting down. Please wait. Printer will

turn off automatically.” appears on the

control panel and the LED lamp on the

<POWER> button flashes at one second

intervals.
Wait a moment, and the machine’s

power automatically turns off and the

LED lamp on the <POWER> button

turns off.

Remove the paper that is loaded in the

unwinder.

Remove the cutter unit.

Lower the unwinder cover open

lever to open the unwinder cover.

Note

Securely open the unwinder cover so it does not

close.

(2)

Raise the cutter unit lock levers at

both ends of the cutter unit.

(The levers on both sides are

connected, so you can raise them

by using one lever.)
