Since the 8-pin modes correspond to the more common standards,
they are especially suitable for graphics programs which do not
support 24-pin dot matrix printers.
24-pin graphics consist of columns each of 3 data bytes which toge-
ther yield 24 printable graphic dots. The individual bytes are calcu-
lated in the same way as with 8-dot graphics.
