6-2 How to set up [Target URL] when there is no DNS server
If there is no DNS server in the network, a computer can not be specified by the computer name.
In this case, the IP address of a computer is used for the setup.
Check the IP address of a computer.
1) Select [Start]- [ Control Panel]- [Network].
2) Double-click [Local Area Connection] to click
[Properties].
3) Select [Internet Protocols (TCP/IP)] and click
[Properties].
4) Enter the value of the IP address in “C-1”.
Set up the profile in MC860.
Set up with the procedure of “3-3 Setup for
Scan To CIFS in MC860” (page 22).
In this case, the value to be entered in the

If the IP address is not displayed on the
window, proceed to 6).

ipconfig
” to press the Enter key.
9) Enter the Value in IP address in “C-1”.
