3000 Series Indicators
SERIAL COMMUNICATION
The Indcator nclude an RS232 seral communcaton nterface.
The setup of RS232 operatng parameters are more fully explaned n Secton 3.8. The physcal hardware connecton s
explaned n n Secton 2.2.
The nterface enables dsplay data to be sent to a computer or prnter. A computer can be used to control some functons of
the ndcator usng the commands lsted n Table 5-1.

:
• Commands sent to the Indcator must be termnated wth a carrage return (CR) or carrage return-lne feed (CRLF).
• Data output by the Indcator s always termnated wth a carrage return-lne feed (CRLF).
• The xT (preset tare) command s not avalable when LFT s set to ON.
