MAINTENANCE

CAUTION: DISCONNECT THE UNIT FROM THE POWER SUPPLY BEFORE CLEANING

. Indicator Cleaning

• Use approved cleanng solutons for the stanless-steel Indcator housng and rnse wth water. Dry thoroughly.
• Do not use solvents, chemcals, alcohol, ammona or abrasves to clean the control panel.

.2 Troubleshooting

SYMPTOM

PROBABLE CAUSE(s)

Unt wll not turn on.

Power cord not plugged n or properly
connected.

Power outlet not supplyng electrcty.

Battery power used up.

Other falure.

Check power cord connectons. Make sure
power cord s plugged n properly nto the
power outlet.

Check power source.

Reconnect AC power to charge the battery.

Cannot zero the Scale, or wll not zero when
turned on.

Load on Scale exceeds allowable lmts.

Load on Scale s not stable.

Load Cell damage.

Remove load on Scale.

Wat for load to become stable.

Unable to calbrate.

Lock Calbraton Menu set to On.

Lock swtch s “on”.

LFT menu set to On.

Incorrect value for calbraton mass.

Set Lock Calbraton Menu to Off.
Refer to Secton 3.9 Menu Lock.

Set LFT menu to Off.

Use correct calbraton mass.

Cannot dsplay weght n desred weghng
unt.

Unt not set to On.

Enable unt n the Unts Menu.
Refer to Secton 3.7 n the Unt Menu.

Cannot change menu settngs.

Menu has been locked.

Lock swtch set on.

Set selected menu to Off n the Lock Menu.
Lock Swtch on the crcut board may
need to be set to the Off poston.

Set the Lock swtch to off.

Connect ndcator to power and charge
battery.

Battery fals to charge fully.

Have the battery replaced by an authorzed
Ohaus servce dealer.
