Dynamic range of the system is the range of the detectable light level and can be thought of as the

maximum detectable light level at the minimum integration time divided by the minimum detectable
light level at the maximum integration time.

Scan rate is dependent on the operating computer and not the spectrometer. These figures assume a

non real-time operating system.
