About the energy save modes

Definition

To meet the EPA E

NERGY

 S

TAR

® guidelines, the Océ VarioPrint 2045-65 DC 

includes two energy save modes: the low power mode and the automatic switch 
off. These modes, among others, enable an efficient and economical 
consumption of energy. 

Océ Service can reconfigure the energy save modes if the default settings prove 
to be unacceptable to the users.

Low power mode

The Océ VarioPrint 2045-65 DC switches to the low power mode after the 
expiration of the low power time.

The Océ VarioPrint 2045-65 DC switches from the low power mode in the 
following circumstances.

■

The user presses a key.

■

The user places the originals.

Automatic switch off

The Océ VarioPrint 2045-65 DC has an automatic switch off function. The 
machine switches off automatically after the pre-set switch off time. 
To activate the machine, press the ON / OFF button on the machine.
