Set-up and start-up
The unit is supplied without a transformer. When set up above the water level, maintain a safety distance of at least 50
cm from combustible material. Ensure a safe seating. Do not cover the unit. Danger of fire! A swivel bracket (4) can be
fitted to the spotlight by means of a screw connection. Position the unit such that it does not present a hazard for
anybody. When fitting in the pond, fasten the unit on a suitable base by means of the swivel bracket. Connect the
power plug of the spotlight to the socket of the transformer bush (2+3). Connect the transformer to the power supply.
Check the spotlight function.
The spotlight can be operated with 12 VAC or 24 VDC (no dimmer function). 12 VAC or 24 VDC (above water level) 12
VAC (below water level).
Adhere to the attached information sheet about the connection of existing transformers and cables with regard to the
seal.
Replacing the bulb (1)
Adhere to the safety instructions! Disconnect the power! Undo the screw-connection of the top section. Ensure that no
moisture can enter the unit. Remove and clean the top and the glass. Disconnect the plug connector and (open the
large bracket on the flat side of the plug

) remove the bulb. Important! Only original bulbs from OASE may be used.
Insert the new bulb. Note that the recess at the outside of the retaining ring is inserted via the housing web. Check the
gasket and replace, if damaged. Reassemble the unit in the reverse order, connect to the power supply and perform a
function check.
Cleaning
Adhere to the safety instructions! Carry out the work steps as specified under 'Replacing the bulbs'. Only use water
and a soft brush. Ensure that no moisture can enter the unit.
Disposal
Dispose of the unit in accordance with the national legal regulations.
