Installation
Panel Mount
The Panel Mount MC-II Plus Flow Analyzer is shipped completely assembled. After
the flow meter and magnetic pickup are installed in the flow line in accordance with
the furnished instructions, follow the installation instructions outlined in Appendix A1.
Weatherproof
The Weatherproof MC-II Plus Flow Analyzer is shipped completely assembled. After
the flow meter and magnetic pickup are installed in the flow line in accordance with
the furnished instructions, follow the installation instructions outlined in Appendix A2.
Operation
The MC-II
Plus Flow Analyzer has two modes of operation, Run Mode and Calibrate
Mode.
The Run Mode is the operational function of the MC-II
Plus Flow Analyzer where it is
placed in service to display rate and volume. If the MC-II Plus Flow Analyzer has
not been calibrated, it will have to be calibrated before being placed in service. The
Calibration section provides a step-by-step procedure for configuring the MC-II Plus
Flow Analyzer.
The Calibrate Mode of the MC-II
Plus Flow Analyzer allows entry of calibration data
into the instrument. While in the Calibrate Mode, the upper line of the display will
have prompts consisting of abbreviated words with each letter formed with a 7-
