Enable beat grid - this option enables all Beat Grid functionality. Beat Grid must be on for
TWITCH’s Slice Mode to function. Disable this option if you don’t wish to use Beat Grid.
on SonG Load
play from start
-
positions the playhead at the start of each track when it is loaded. If this
setting is off, new tracks will play from the last track time that the playhead had in the previous
track. This option is on by default. It is overridden by instant doubles and play from first cue
point options (see below).
notE: when play from start is on, the deck will try to skip any silence at the start of the track,
and play from the start of the audio.
instant doubles
-
this allows you to quickly match the playhead position of the same file on
both decks. With this option set, when you load a track on one deck that is already loaded on
the other (it must be the same file), the playhead will jump to the current play position of the
track that was loaded first. keylock and looping statuses are also copied. This setting overrides
the play from start and
play from first cue point
options.
play from first cue point
-
enable this option to start all tracks from the first cue point after
loading. This setting overrides the play from start option. If the track has no cue points set, it
will play from the start.
RECORDING
Bit depth
- selects the recording bit depth to be 16 bit or 24 bit. Note that TWITCH only
supports 16 bit recording.
file format
- choose the file format for the recording. Select from Wave (.WAV) or AIFF (.AIF).
BRAkING
This is a variable control which sets how fast the track stops when the deck is paused. Adjust
with vertical movements of the mouse. Fully counter-clockwise, the stop is immediate. As the
control is advanced clockwise, the stopping time increases. The longest setting simulates a
slow turntable power-down.
