Starting or Ending a Session - To start or end a session, click the corresponding button.

inserting a track - If you wish to add information to your session data for tracks not played in

ITCH  (i.e., if you also played vinyl discs or CDs), select the ITCH track you played immediately

before, and click the

INSERT TRACk button to create a blank track record. Double-click the

fields and enter your information.

notE: when exporting an .m3u playlist (see Export below), inserted tracks will not be included.

Export

 - You can export each session as a data file by pressing the EXPORT

 button. Select a

session, choose your preferred file format from the drop-down list, and click EXPORT

. Three

export file formats are available:

•

text

 - a simple text file containing your session information.

•

csv

- a file for suitable use in spreadsheet software.

•

m3u

 - a playlist file, which can be imported into media players. Note that an .m3u file

does not contain audio itself, it only points to the location of your audio files.

tiP:

You can make a new ITCH crate containing your session information. Select a session in

the History pane and drag it to the + (create crate) button in the Crate pane. The new crate will

be named with the session date.

Listing Behaviour - only the tracks you actually play are listed in the History log. The log uses

an A-B algorithm, which means a track on deck A is only listed once the track on deck B has

been changed or ejected. You can choose to show tracks which you have auditioned, but not

actually played, by ticking the Show Unplayed Tracks checkbox. The log will then include these

tracks in grey, as well as the tracks actually played.

You can also manually mark unplayed tracks as played, or vice versa. Select a track (or tracks)

and click the

MARk PLAYED

 or

MARk UNPLAYED button as appropriate. (Note that only one

of these two buttons appears, depending on whether the selected tracks is played or unplayed).
