Enable Port Filtering
Port filtering can be enabled for standard (allowed) applications. (See Enable Port Filtering for
Allowed Applications on page 54.) Port Filtering can also be enabled for custom applications. (See
Enable Port Filtering for Custom Applications on page 55.)
Enable Port Filtering for Allowed Applications
To enable port filtering for standard applications, follow these steps.

From the Port Filtering screen, select the
Enable Port Filtering
check box.

Select the check boxes for the applications for which you want to allow access to
the Internet.

Click
Apply

NOTE
The MiFi device uses standard ports for these applications. If you have applications that do not use
the standard ports or that are not listed under
Allowed Applications
, use
Custom Applications
.
