Using the MiFi 2200 for the First Time
IMPORTANT
The MiFi 2200 requires an activated account with a network operator in order to
function.
To get started, follow these steps.
•
Confirm your computer meets the minimum system requirements. (See System
Requirements on page 7.)
•
Insert and charge the battery. (See Insert and Charge the Battery on page 13.)
•
Turn on the device. (See Turn the Device On and Off on page 15.)
•
Connect the device to your computer using Wi-Fi. (See Connecting in Wi-Fi Mode on page
16.)
•
Connect to MiFi settings. (See MiFi Settings Basics on page 18.)
Insert and Charge the Battery
NOTE
The battery should be fully charged before using the MiFi 2200 for the first time.
To insert and charge the battery, follow these steps.

Open the battery compartment, located on the bottom of the device.
