Use the fol low ing pro ce dure and refer to Figure 1, as necessary to mount the
base plate.
Step
Procedure

Turn off all power to the HVAC equip ment be fore mount ing the
baseplate.

Po si tion the base plate against the mounting surface and mark the
surface to show the lo ca tion of the four screw holes in the cor ners
of the base plate.
NOTE!
To mount the base plate to a junc tion box, use the
two holes lo cated di rectly above and be low the
large hole through which the wires pass.

Drill holes in the lo ca tions marked on the mounting surface and
ins ert hollow- wall an chors (and in su la tion, if nec es sary).

Po si tion the base plate over the screws.
5
Tighten the screws to se cure the base plate.
Sup ply ing the ETM- 2040
with Power
Connect the ETM-2040 to a suitable 24-VDC power supply. Connect the
positive (+) and negative (–) power terminals to the appropriate wire as indicated
in Table 1.
