13.3 Erasing All Sensors
ALL
learned sensors in the Console’s memory can be bulk erased using
these steps:
1.
Press and hold
TEST
button for fi ve seconds. The Console will
announce:
0
“Zones reset”
2.
All learned sensors are erased by this operation. The Console will
then go to normal operation and announce:
0
“Console ready”
✓
NOTE: Any pending alarms or events for an erased zone will be cleared.
13.4 Testing Sensors
Each sensor learned into the Console should be tested. When a sensor
is tested, the Console will announce the type of sensor, the zone number,
and the RF signal level.

IMPORTANT! AFTER CONSOLE INSTALLATION, PORTABLE SENSORS
SHOULD BE TESTED BY THE DEALER OR INSTALLER IN VARIOUS
PLACES ON-LOCATION TO DETERMINE THE EFFECTIVE RADIO

Refer to the General Performance Tips illustration below for examples of
materials that will affect sensor range.
Use the following steps to test each system sensor.
1.
Press and release the
TEST
button (located recessed on the bottom
of the Console). The Console will announce:

“Test Mode... fi rmware version [number]...
hardware version [number]”
2.
Activate each sensor to test. For each sensor, the Console will
announce:
0
“[Fire, Activity, Emergency, or Carbon Monoxide]
sensor... zone [number]... [full or low] signal”
If the sensor tested has a low battery, the Console will announce:
0
“Sensor low battery... zone [number]”
3.
When fi nished, press
CANCEL
to exit Test Mode (Test Mode will
automatically exit after three minutes of inactivity).
