First Steps

4.1

Introducing the Nortech EasyGrid

Nortech EasyGrid fiber optic temperature measurement system is designed for real-time monitoring of

transformer hotspots.

It can be configured to have 4 to 18 channels. Modules can be daisy chained to a maximum of 32, which

gives the possibility to have up to 576 channels in a single system. Each unit has multiple serial

interfaces: USB and RS485/RS422. Supported communication protocols are Nortech and MODBUS (RTU

and ASCII). Optional modules are available for IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104 and DNP 3.0.
