14.4.
CLEANING THE BURNER CAP
In WOOD mode, most of the ashes remaining in the burner
caps (
CB
) are removed by extracting the latter from the
stove using the relevant handle (Picture 13 pos.

)
This operation must only be carried out when the stove
is cold.
ATTENTION
: the ashes removed from the hearth must be
placed in a fire-proof container with sealed lid. The
container must be placed on a fire-proof floor, away from
inflammable materials until the ashes have gone out and
cooled completely.
14.5.
CLEANING THE BURNER
The burner (
B
)must be cleaned on necessity and every time the product is lit again. (Picture 13)
ATTENTION
:
This operation must only be carried out when the stove is
cold.

Switch the stove into "WOOD" mode (see chapter 9.1 point 2)
•
Remove the cast iron burner cap (pos.
CB
)
•
Use the grate shaker combs to remove and combustion residues (see
chapter 14.6).
•
Using the cleaning rod (pos.
D
), scrape the final part of the pellet tank to
remove any deposited residues.
•
Using the irons, clean the burner air passage as indicated in Picture 13
pos.
A
.
•
Remove the ash and the unburned pellets from the burner using a suction
device.
14.6.
GRATE SHAKER COMBS
During normal stove functioning in PELLET mode, the cinders must be shaken to prevent stratification of the ash. To
do this use the grate shaker combs (
P
), whose lever is accessible by opening the lower box:
hook the supplied
irons to the lever to prevent burns
and move forward-backwards and vice versa (Picture 14 pos.
A
). Repeat the
operation 2-3 times a day.
14.7.
CLEANING THE PELLET TANK
If the stove does not have perfect combustion of the pellets,
check the correct positioning of the upper inspection lid
(Picture 15 pos.
A
), or open the lateral inspection lid fixed
with 4 nuts (pos.
B
) and clean the pellet tank
IMPORTANT: when cleaning has been performed,
check the integrity of the gaskets and re-mount the
lids in their original position.

14.8.
GASKETS
The gaskets guarantee the tightness of the stove and its
consequent good functioning.
These must be checked regularly: they must be replaced
immediately if they are worn or damaged.
These operations must be carried out by an authorised
technician.
14.9.
THE MAJOLICAS
The
LA NORDICA
majolicas are top quality artisan products and as such can have micro-dots, crackles and
chromatic imperfections. These features highlight their valuable nature.
