and the closing mechanism should be oiled using carbonic fat or grease designed for high temperatures. Close the
fireplace stove with corresponding slide valves when not in operation.
Procedure for exchange of vermiculites:
1.
Incline and remove the ceiling vermiculite – 3
2.
Incline and remove the side vermiculites – 2
3.
Incline and remove the back vermiculites – 4
4.
Use the reverse order for re-assembly
Note: Cracks in the vermiculite do not have any effect on the combustion and
service life og the stove. The vermiculites should not remain crumbled to the
metal for prolonged periods of time.
Warning: When stoking logs, make sure they do not hit the vermiculites hard to prevent damages.
Cleaning the chimney
Each user of a solid fuel heater is obliged to ensure regular checkups and cleaning of the chimney.
7. Disposal of covers and the discarded product
Packaging and the discarded product should be liquidated.
Packaging:
Wooden parts can be used for heating
Plastic package is to be placed into a container for sorted waste
Screws and handles are to be taken to a waste collection station
Bag with the separator of air humidity is to be placed to separated waste
Discarded product:
Dismantled glass is to be placed into a container for sorted waste
Sealing and vermiculite boards are to be placed into communal waste
Metal parts are to be taken to a waste collection station
8. Warranty
Jydepejsen warrants brand new wood-burning stoves for 2 years. The warranty covers:
Production defects.
Fire-penetration of the steel, assuming that the stove has been fired up correctly.
In case you have questions or require servicing during the warranty period, please contact your dealer who will
assist you. Always inform the dealer of which model you have purchased as well as the serial number of your
stove. The serial number is located on the data plate on the rear of the stove.
The following are not covered by the warranty:
Transportation damages.
Secondary damages resulting from the use of the stove.
Damages resulting from incorrect use such as superheating. Such damages may be avoided by following
the operating manual instructions.
Glass, soapstone, sandstone and ceramics
If the chips are down and your stove needs repairing under the warranty, you must be able to present a dated
and signed invoice stating the name of the dealer and the model. In case of repairs under the warranty, the parts
and labor costs will be covered by Jydepejsen. Other costs such as dismounting and remounting of the chimney
will be covered by appointment with Jydepejsen only.
The stove has parts that are subjected to inherent wear and tear. Such parts are not covered by the warranty and
