NSTALLATION
1.
Mount the main lift sensor with the
bracket provided (
B11
). The sensor
should point behind the boom, but be
ahead of the spray nozzles.
Make sure the sensor has
clearance when the main
section is raised and lowered.
2.
Aim the sensor perpendicular to the
ground. Tighten all the sensor bracket
bolts.
General mounting rules for ultrasonic
main lift sensor:
a)
Mount the sensor at the midpoint of the
main lift section.
b)
The sensor must have a 12-inch
diameter clear view of the ground
without any obstructions.
c)
Ensure that there will be no contact
between the sensor and the booms
when folding and unfolding, or raising
and lowering.
d)
The bottom of the sensor must be at
least 9 inches in front of the spray
nozzles.
e)
The bottom of the sensor must be at
least 9 inches above the spray nozzles.
