Figure 3-2, “Products above MCV value label” (p. 28)
shows the label that indicates a product is
above the maximum concentration value, as defined by standard SJ/T11363-2006 (Requirements
for Concentration Limits for Certain Hazardous Substances in Electronic Information Products). The
number contained inside the label indicates the Environment-Friendly User Period (EFUP) value.
The label may be found in this documentation or on the product.
Together with major international telecommunications equipment companies, Nokia has determined
it is appropriate to use an EFUP of 50 years for network infrastructure equipment and an EFUP of
20 years for handsets and accessories. These values are based on
manufacturers' extensive
practical experience of the design, manufacturing, maintenance, usage conditions, operating
