Replacing a Power Supply

Nokia IP561 Security Platform Installation Guide

7. Use the handles to gently pull the power supply out of the chassis.

8. Insert the new power supply into the empty bay.

9. Replace the grounding cable if being used.
10. Reinstall the two retaining screws.
11. Turn on the power.

Monitoring the IP561 Appliance Power Supply

You can monitor the status of the IP561 appliance power supply with Nokia Network Voyager.
Similarly, you can also use the command-line interface (CLI). For information about the CLI,

To monitor the IP561 appliance power supply by using Nokia Network Voyager

1. Log on to the IP561 appliance with Network Voyager.
2. Click Monitor.
3. Click Hardware Monitoring > System Status.

To the right of the Power Supply link, the status indicator is green for normal and red for
fault.
