2. Safety

The machine operator must be familiar with the operating, maintenance and

SAFETY information contained in this manual. We recommend that you read it

carefully before using the machine. It indicates the good safety practices that

must be respected during the steps of use. If you have any questions, please

In order to have a safe operation, also observe your tractor’s safety

recommendations.

In this manual and on the stickers affixed to the machine you will find the

'safety alert symbol' accompanied by the 'CAUTION' and 'DANGER' warnings,

followed by specific instructions. These instructions are intended to protect

your own safety and the safety of others who work or are near the machine.

When viewing the SAFETY ALERT SYMBOL in this manual, carefully read and

follow the instructions below.

The word '

CAUTION

' indicates situations where there is potential risk or hazard,

and, if not avoided, might cause serious injuries.

The warning word '

DANGER

' indicates

a situation of imminent risk which, if

not avoided, might cause

very serious injuries or even death.

The Head is a machine that requires specific operational know-how and should

only be used by properly trained operators.

Some functional components such as drums and knives need to be partially

exposed for proper machine operation. Keep people and animals at a safe

distance from these components during operation. There is a risk of a very

serious accident in case of contact with these moving parts. IT IS PROHIBITED

FOR UNTRAINED PEOPLE TO STAND NEAR THE MACHINE WHEN IT IS IN

OPERATION.
