In order the sharpening be uniform, the face
of the stone must remain parallel to the cut
of the knives. If necessary, align the sharpener
with the knives by doing the following:
ATTENTION!
Turn off the tractor and remove
the ignition key before starting
the following procedure.
6.10.1- How to align the sharpener
1.
Remove the 3 nuts (D) and remove the
sharpener from the machine.
2.
Tighten the three adjusting nuts (B) to
the end of the bolt until they rest against
the plate.
3.
Snap the sharpener back into the machine
by leaning the sharpening stone against
the knives.
4.
Loosen the three adjusting nuts (B), until
they touch the sharpener.
5.
Attach the three nuts (A).
6.
Turn the handle (C) counterclockwise and
move the sharpening stone away from
the knives.
7.
Start the machine.
8.
Turn the handle until the sharpening
stone touches the knives. Then, remove
the sharpening stone and turn off the
machine.
9.
Remove the sharpener and observe the
knives carefully. Make sure the stone is
touching all equally.
10.
If the sharpening is not uniform, look at
which side the stone should be tilted.
11.
Mount the sharpener at the machine and
adjust the sharpening stone using the
adjusting nuts (B).
