NivuSonic Clamp on
Simulation
This function allows to simulate a theoretical flow by entering supposed level
and velocity values without having these values actually available. The Ni-
vuChannel is going to calculate the current flow value by using the simulated
values based on the channel dimensions set. The results are going to be sent to
the respective outputs ( digital).
Simulate the desired flow velocity by pressing the >left< or >right< arrow keys.
Using the >up< or >down< keys will simulate the desired flow level.
Both values simulated are going to be indicated in the table. The calculated flow
value can be seen above the table.
Transit time
The transit time submenu allows to adjust temperature and velocity

Temperature adjustment
If you wish to adjust the temperature use this submenu to enter the temperature
you have been measuring.
External temperature measurement should be always executed in or close to the
measurement path.
This however is required only after the initial start-up or if sensor positions have
been modified (e.g. maintenance works). Subsequently the temperature is com-
puted in the course of further measurements and will be indicated in the main
screen.
