The 3-pin jumper P5 is used to insert the termination of the serial line BUS available on the J17 connector. The value of the inserted terminating
resistor is 120
. The table below shows the possible configurations.
Config. P5
CANBUS line state
1-2
Line terminated
2-3
Line not terminated
Table 3-3: jumper P5 configuration.
3.1.1.5
P6, SELECTION OF POWER SUPPLY FOR THE ISOLATED INTERFACE CANBUS
The 3-pin jumper P6 allows you to select the power source of the isolated circuitry of CANBUS interface. It is possible to choose an internal power
supply (DC / DC) or an external power supply on the CANBUS J17 connector. The table below shows the possible configurations.
Config. P6
Power supply Source
1-2
Internal (isolated DC/DC converter)
2-3
External (Line CANBUS)

3.1.1.6
P7 E P8, CURRENT / VOLTAGE SELECTION FOR THE ANALOG OUTPUTS
The 3-pin jumpers P7 and P8 are used to configure the isolated analog outputs AO1 (P7) and AO2 (P8) available on the removable terminal block
(see 3.2.6) as current or voltage output type. The table below shows the possible configurations.
Config. P7 e P8
Type of analog output
1-2
Current (0÷20mA)
2-3
Voltage (±12V)
Table 3-5: Configuration of jumpers P7 and P8.
3.1.1.7
P16, SELECTION OF THE BOOT ADDRESS FOR THE MPC5200
Address selection of the PowerPC MPC5200 boot inside the Flash memory can be set via the configuration of the P16 bridge. The table below
illustrates the two possible configurations.
Config. P16
Boot start address
1-2
$0000.0100
2-3
$FFF0.0100
Table 3-6: Configuration of jumper P16.
NOTE:
In the SPDM CONTROL BOX, P16 must be set on default position 1-2.
3.1.1.8
P20, SELECTION OF THE SOURCE FOR ADCINA1
The P20 jumper selects the source of the analog input ADCINA1 of DSP. The table below illustrates this configuration.
Config. P20
Source for ADCINA1 input
1-2
Input from pins 25/26 of connector J2
2-3
Sum of inputs from pins 27/28+29/30 of
connector J2
