3.1.1.1

P1 AND P2, TERMINATION OF THE SERIAL LINE MODBUS

The P1 and P2 jumpers allow you to insert the terminating network on the serial line (RS485) MODBUS. Close both jumpers with the special shunt
to make termination active. The value of the inserted terminating resistors is 220

.

P3, SELECTION OF THE SERIAL PERIPHERALS FOR KEYPAD

The two separate serial lines (one at RS232 level and the other at RS485 level) available on connector J11 (pins 1-6 for RS232 and pins 4-5
RS485) are dedicated to the management of serial keypads, they are allocated through the jumper P3 to two different peripherals of SYSTEM2
board (serial channel A of the DSP and UART2 of the MCU).
The table below shows the 2 possible combinations allowed by P3.

NOTE:

In the SPDM CONTROL BOX, P3 must be set on default position 2-3.

P4, TERMINATION OF THE SERIAL LINE OF KEYPAD

The P4 jumper allows you to insert the termination of the RS485 serial line to logic level for the keypad interface available on the J11 connector.
The closure of this jumper with the appropriate shunt makes the termination active. The value of the inserted terminating resistor is 220

NOTE:

In the SPDM CONTROL BOX, P4 must be open.
