Compressor blocking in NIBE F1345 when
defrosting
For NIBE F1345 to know when the compressors must
be stopped (blocked), AMB 30 must be connected to
the heat pump.
This connection is only made in one of the following
cases:

Hybrid system containing one or more AMB 30 to-
gether with a single F1345. If the hybrid system
contains several F1345 defrosting can occur without
compressor blocking.

All outdoor air systems.
Then AMB 30 must be connected so that at least one
compressor is blocked during defrosting. A AMB 30
can block either one or two compressors in F1345. The
connection must be made so that all compressors in
the system can be blocked.
Use a 2 core cable of at least 0.5 mm² cable area.
In F1345 the cable is connected from AMB 30 to the
software controlled inputs on terminal block X6. The
software in F1345 (menu 5.4) determines the function
for the selected input.
Selectable inputs on the input card for these functions
are AUX1 (X6:17), AUX2 (X6:18) and AUX3 (X6:19). A
software input per compressor that is to be blocked is
required (select "block compressor EP14" and "block
compressor EP15").
When the input for blocking the compressor in F1345
is connected the compressor will be stopped regardless
of operating state and operating type.
Connection, one AMB 30 to a F1345
In the example below AMB 30 is connected to the
software controlled input AUX1 in F1345.
Connect terminal blocks X6:1 and X6:3 on relay card
(AA6) in AMB 30 to terminal block X6:17 and X6:GND
in F1345 and bridge to X6:18 respectively X6:GND as
illustrated.

Connection, two AMB 30 to a F1345
In the example below the master unit (AMB 30, 1) and
slave unit (AMB 30, 2) are connected to the software
controlled inputs AUX2 and AUX3 in F1345.
AMB 30, 1: Connect terminal blocks X6:1 and X6:3 on
relay card (AA6) in AMB 30 to terminal block X6:18 and
X6:GND in F1345 as illustrated.
AMB 30, 2: Connect terminal blocks X6:1 and X6:3 on
relay card (AA6) in AMB 30 to terminal block X6:19 and
X6:GND in F1345 as illustrated.
