The status byte register is cleared when a *CLS command is received.

3.1.2 Service Request Enable Register

The service request enable register is used to select the summary bit within the status byte register that
generates service requests shown in Figure 3.1. The service request enable register is cleared when the power
is turned on while the power on status clear flag (set in *PSC ) is set to TRUE .
