To turn on the airplane mode, press the ( F9
) multimedia key on the keyboard. Press the
( F9 )
multimedia key again to turn off the airplane mode.
When you are in an airplane or in an area where using the mobile data is not allowed, you can
turn on airplane mode.
When the airplane mode is turned on, all your wireless connections are disabled automatically.
While in airplane mode, you can use other features of your computer, such as playing music,
watching downloaded videos, or other apps.
Using the Airplane Mode
WARNING:
To avoid health hazards, turn off all wireless connections on your device in health care facilities
when any regulations posted in these areas instruct you to do so. Hospitals or health care facilities
may be using equipment that could be sensitive to external RF energy.
