How many contacts
can you put in the
Address Book?

The Address Book can hold up to
500 contacts, 100 of which may be
linked to your Speed Dial or
Private ID lists on the phone. You
may “browse” all 500 contacts in
Net mode on your phone.

What does “linking”
my Phone Lists (Speed
Dial, Private ID) do?

A contact is linked when the phone
icon appears next to the entry in the
Address Book index. You may link
up to 100 contacts that will be
stored in your Speed Dial and/or
Private ID list on your phone.
Linking allows automatic transfer
of updated information between
the Address Book and your phone
lists.

Can I export my
Address Book
information to
Microsoft Outlook?

No, you can import Microsoft
Outlook contacts to Address Book,
but you may not export Address
Book information to Microsoft
Outlook.

Can you assign the
same person to
multiple Categories?

No, you cannot assign the same
person to multiple Categories;
however, you can assign the same
person to more than one
Distribution List.

While on the Web site,
I got a message that
said my session had
timed out. What does
this mean?

For security reasons, you will be
timed out after 15 minutes if you
are not actively storing or
modifying information within
Address Book. To continue
working in the application, you
must log in again.

What can I do with my
Talkgroup list in
Address Book?

The Talkgroup list allows you to
manage Talkgroup names and the
order in which they appear on your
phone. If you would like to add a
Talkgroup or add users to a
Talkgroup, please contact Nextel
Customer Care at 1-800-639-6111.
