Menu tree

5.1    General

FST software parameters are set using the FST-2 user interface or the 
HHT handheld terminal together with the FST menu. The FST menu is 
displayed as a menu tree divided into submenus and menu items. 

Security levels

NEW LIFT has divided the menu items of the FST-2 into three security 
levels.

Setting passwords

Each security level can be protected with a four digit password. The menu 
items of the lower levels can be accessed with the password for the high 
security level. The test menu can be accessed with password protection at 
any time.

The default setting for the password is “

0000

”.

Menu tree

All functions and settings of the menu tree are explained below. 

Actions are marked with

Parametrising can also be done using the FST Editor via the serial 
interface or via remote data transmission.
