Programmable inputs and outputs
The FST-2-Controller has 80 programmable inputs/outputs. Eight inputs/
outputs are located directly on the FST-2- main circuit board (X1.4 .. X1.11)
and seven more are located on the Car Control Module FSM X24 (see
“Plug and terminal strip X24” on page 62). Those I/O’s are available with all
systems.
Other 72 inputs/outputs are located anywhere on the LON bus on so called
“Remote I/O Modules” (see “RIO-ADM remote I/O module” on page 84 and
“RIO-FPM remote I/O module” on page 87).
General
Characteristics of a programmable input/output:
-
Assigned function
-
Signal direction (input or output)
-
Active state (+24V or GND)
Each input/output can be allocated a function on-site using the FST menu.
The signal direction of the inputs/outputs is divided into input and output
functions.
The active state of the function can be defined as +24V or GND.
Input functions
The input function is triggered if the state on the input/output changes from
inactive to active.
Output functions
As soon as the condition for the output function is met, the state on the
input/output changes from inactive to active.
Flags
The “Flag” function is a special function. A flag allows different controller
states to be linked with “OR”. The input/output is activated if at least one of
the required conditions is met.
Signals
The function “signals” can link and issue controller states similar to the flag
function. It links door and car states with “AND”. The input/output is
activated if all of the required conditions are met.
Blocking floors
Car and landing calls for any floor can be blocked and enabled using
programmable inputs. Each input can be assigned a combination of
landing and car calls.
