Factory Conﬁguration

Figure 5.56.: Factory Conﬁguration

This menu can be used to reset the device to factory defaults. Your current conﬁguration will

be lost. This procedure can also be initiated by pressing and holding the

Reset

button for

at least ﬁve seconds. A successfully initiated factory reset can be noticed by all LEDs having

been turned on. The factory reset will set the IP address of the ﬁrst Ethernet interface back

to 192.168.1.1. You will be able to communicate again with the device using the default

network parameters. You may store the currently running conﬁguration as factory defaults

which will reside active even when a factory reset has been initiated (e.g. by your service

staff).

Please ensure that this corresponds to a working conﬁguration. A real factory reset to the

default settings can be achieved by restoring the original factory conﬁguration and initiating

the factory reset again.
