Update Mobile Hotspot Software and Firmware
The hotspot checks automatically for new software or firmware updates once a week. If an
update becomes available, the hotspot displays an alert. Open the alert and select or click
the
Install now
button to install the update. Your device reboots automatically to use the new
software.
You can also check for updates manually without receiving an alert.
To update software:
1.
Launch an Internet browser from a computer or wireless device that is connected to the
network.
2.
Enter
http://m.home
or
http://192.168.1.1
.
A login screen displays.
3.
Enter the administrator login password.
The default password is
admin
. The password is case-sensitive.
4.
Select
Settings > General > Software and Reset
.
