3.2.2 Install a CPU on Nuvo-5000 Rev. A1

For a Nuvo-5000 Rev. A1 barebone (without CPU installed), please follow steps described

below to install a CPU on it.

1. Remove the PCBA from the heat-sink by loosing four M3 P-head screws(red circles).

2. Place the PCBA on a flat surface. Remove the plastic protective cover from the

LGA1151 socket.

Caution

When the protective cover is removed and LGA1151 socket is exposed, please carefully

handle the PCBA to avoid any damage on LGA socket.
