If gas taps are difficult to turn, replace the gas taps. Never open and regrease them.
Contact the technical service for this operation.
Immediately after installation, test the appliance briefly by following the instructions
shown below. In the event of a malfunction, disconnect the appliance from the mains
and contact your nearest technical service centre.
Do not attempt to repair the appliance.
As the user, you yourself are responsible for maintenance and proper use in the house-
hold. Only ever operate the appliance under supervision.
Make sure that all the burner parts are correctly fitted.
Only ever use the burners after placing pots and pans on them. Do not heat up any
empty pots or pans; this may result in a build-up of heat. Use pots and pans with
thicker bottoms because heat distribution is particularly improved in the low setting.
The better the size of pots and pans is adapted to the burner size, the better the heat
of the gas flame will be used and the more costs will be saved.
Switch the burners to the low setting whenever you remove pots or pans, even if only
briefly. This reduces the risk of you burning yourself when working near to naked
flames; you also save gas and reduce pollution. Whenever you finish using the cooking
hob, always check that the control knobs are in "zero" position (off).
Never put flammable objects into the oven:
should it be accidentally switched on,
a fire may break out.
In the event of a fire: close the main gas supply and cut off
the electric current.
Do not throw water on burning or frying oil. Foodstuffs that are
prepared in fat and oil must only be prepared under supervision. Do not store flam-
mable objects or aerosol cans near the appliance and do not spray near the burners
when switched on. Do not wear baggy clothes or accessories that are not tight to the
body when the burners are switched on.: serious injuries can be caused by burning
fabric.
There is a storage drawer underneath the oven. Store only the
metal accessories for the cooker in the drawer.
Do not store any flammable materials such as fabrics, cloths,
paper or similar in the drawer.
