Connect the power cable to the device and a properly grounded wall
outlet.

Turn on power to the system and the device.

NOTE

Check that the device is online before you try to use it. See

the instructions that came with the device for more information.

External Keyboard and Mouse

You can connect a full-size PS/2-style keyboard and/or PS/2-style mouse to
your MiniDock. You can continue to use the system keyboard while an ex-
ternal keyboard is connected.

Follow these steps to connect an external keyboard or mouse to your system.

1.

Power off the NEC Versa.

CAUTION

Make sure the NEC Versa is powered off whenever you add or
remove an external keyboard or mouse. Connecting an external
keyboard or mouse to the system in Operation mode can cause the
system or device to malfunction.
