Parameter Descriptions
Read the following for an understanding of each parameter's function.
Time/Date
Use this option to set the time and date. The settings remain in memory even after you turn
off system power.
To set the time, enter the current hour, minute, and second in hh:mm:ss, 24-hour format.
Use the Tab key to move from field to field. For example, type 13:30:00, tabbing from field
to field for 1:30 p.m.
To set the date, enter the current day, month, and year in mm/dd/yyyy format.
NOTE: When setting the time and date, enter
preceding zeroes. For example, to enter 9:20
a.m. and February 4, 1996, type 09:20:00 and
02/04/1996.
Drives
The Drives option lets you check or change parameters for your diskette drives, hard disk,
and docking station hard drives.
One drive option you may have to change is Boot Docking Station IDE. When set to Yes, it
will boot the operating system from the optional Docking Station 4000 hard drive. Other-
wise, the system will boot from either the internal IDE hard drive or the CD-ROM if one is
installed in VersaBay II.
Peripherals
The Peripherals screen displays the location of the connection between the system and the
Input/Output (I/O) ports.
