SIMM Installation

Use the following procedures to install SIMMs in the system.

Checking the Memory in the System

Use the following procedure to locate SIMM sockets and to check the memory configura-
tion in the system.

Remove the top cover and any expansion boards covering the socket as previ-
ously described.

Locate the two SIMM sockets, SIMM socket 1 and SIMM socket 2, on the sys-
tem board.
