Desktop Repair 5-9

Speaker Assembly Removal

Use the following procedure to remove the speaker from the device cage.

Remove the top cover as previously described.

Unplug the speaker connector J18 on the system board.

Remove the speaker screw from the side of the device cage.

Lift the speaker from the slot in the device cage.
