Connect the keyboard and mouse cables to the back of the system unit.

Connect the monitor and any other peripherals to the rear panel. See “External
Multimedia Connections” and “Network Connectors” later in this subsection for
multimedia and network connections.

Press the power button to power-on the system. The indicator lamps and reset
button are also identified in the figure.

The system has a built-in checking program that automatically tests the components at
power-on. One beep indicates that the system has successfully completed its power-on test.
