17.1.2 Standby function control register

The wait time after the STOP mode is released by an interrupt request until the oscillation stabilizes is

controlled by the oscillation stabilization time select register (OSTS).

OSTS is set with an 8-bit memory manipulation instruction.

RESET input sets OSTS to 04H. Therefore, when the STOP mode is released by RESET input, the time until

it is released is 2

/fx.

Caution The wait time after STOP mode release does not include the time from STOP mode release

to clock oscillation start (see “a” below), regardless of whether the STOP mode is released

by RESET input or by interrupt request generation.
