Additional battery for RAID controller is not refreshed automatically except for the first time. However, it
is recommended to perform battery refresh once a year as guideline for stable operation of battery. Use
Universal RAID Utility to perform battery refresh manually. See Universal RAID Utility User's Guide in
EXPRESSBUILDER for more information.

DISK LED flashes
Does DISK LED flash frequently even while the hard disk drive is not accessed?

Ignore the flashing. When Patrol Read is running, the DISK LED flashes even if the hard disk drive is not
being accessed. If a SATA hard disk drive is used, the DISK LED stays on.

When N8190-157A/158A/159/160 is used, the names of the Fibre Channel controllers appear with different
names on Device Manager

To display correct controller name, run the following command in the EXPRESSBUILDER DVD and
restart the server.
